Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic analytics about how the site is used.

• Contact form details. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the reason you picked from the dropdown, and your message, so we can respond to your inquiry.
• Spam-protection signals. Google reCAPTCHA v3 runs quietly in the background of the contact form. It looks at device and behavior signals to score how likely you are to be a real person, and our server checks that score before accepting your message. Google processes this under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Text message opt-in. If you check the text-message box on the contact form, we also collect your consent to text you back. See “Text messages” below.
• Usage data. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand traffic and measure ad performance. These tools collect standard, non-identifying information such as pages visited, device and browser type, and general location, and they set cookies such as _ga and _gid to recognize your browser between visits.
• Map views. Our locations and contact pages embed Google Maps. When one of those maps loads, your browser talks directly to Google, the same as visiting Google Maps itself would.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your messages, questions, and event or catering requests;
• Text you back, only if you opted in on the contact form;
• Operate, maintain, and improve our website;
• Understand site traffic and ad performance in aggregate.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for two things: Google Analytics and Google Ads (to understand traffic and measure how well our ads work), and Google reCAPTCHA v3 (to keep spam out of the contact form). Text messages

If you check the text-message box on our contact form, we may send you text messages about your request. Message frequency varies depending on your conversation with us. Message and data rates may apply, based on your phone plan. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this site: a form delivery service that routes contact-form messages to our inbox, Google reCAPTCHA v3 for spam protection, Google Analytics and Google Ads for traffic and ad measurement, Google Maps for the embedded maps, and our web hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs. We verify the reCAPTCHA result on our own server before your message is delivered. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

Online ordering

Ordering ahead happens through the joe coffee app, a separate service you download and use directly. Anything you enter there, including your phone number for the app account, goes to joe coffee, not to us. Their privacy policy governs that data.

Data retention & security

We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted to us by contacting us using the details below. You can also:

• Turn off Google ad personalization for your account.
• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Analytics from collecting your visits, on any site.
• Reply STOP to any text from us to stop receiving texts.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with an updated date at the top.
